ACT YOUR WAGE

Inspired by 1990s–early 2000s business fashion, Act Your Wage is a satirical take on office culture and the rise of work-life boundaries. The shoot explores the tension between corporate expectations and personal freedom, using fashion as a statement of individuality in rigid environments. I styled oversized blazers, chunky glasses, pleated skirts, and knee-high socks to reflect a bold, youthful take on traditional workwear. The goal was to blend nostalgia with rebellion—capturing characters who look powerful but don’t play by outdated rules. Balancing retro aesthetics with a fresh editorial lens was the main challenge, but with curated vintage pieces and a structured city-inspired backdrop, the result was playful, strong, and subversive.

Wabi-Sabi

This shoot was inspired by the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi, which embraces the beauty in imperfection, impermanence, and authenticity. I styled a sheer nude mesh dress to reflect vulnerability and softness, allowing the model’s natural skin, texture, and presence to speak louder than the garment itself. The goal was to strip away distractions and show raw beauty exactly as it is. With a minimal set and natural light, I created a space where flaws weren’t hidden but honored. The result was an honest and intimate portrait of self-acceptance.

It's Personal

This shoot was a chance for me to style myself in a way that feels true to who I am. I kept the background clean and minimal so the focus stayed on the outfits and my energy. I wanted to show two sides of myself—put-together and professional, but also playful and easygoing. Each look reflects a different mood, and together they show the full picture of my personality without needing to say too much.
